Cameron Watson (actor)
Cameron Watson (born October 6, 1961) is an American actor, screenwriter, and director, best known for playing Bart Fallmont in the TV miniseries ''Dynasty: The Reunion''.
Watson attended the University of Montevallo, receiving a bachelor of fine arts degree in 1983.〔(Cameron Watson ), University of Montevallo College of Fine Arts, Department of Theatre,Graduates in the Spotlight/Alumni Bios〕 After graduation, he began a professional acting career in New York City, studying with Herbert Berghof at the HB Studio in Greenwich Village and working in off-Broadway productions.〔 He later moved to Los Angeles to act in film and television.〔
Watson wrote and directed his first feature film, ''Our Very Own'', in 2005. The film stars Allison Janney, Keith Carradine, Jason Ritter, Cheryl Hines, Hilarie Burton and Mary Badham (Scout in ''To Kill a Mockingbird'') in her first screen role in 40 years. The film is set in Shelbyville, Tennessee, which Watson considers to be his home town.〔(411 Movies Interview: Our Very Own Director Cameron Watson ), Movieweb.com, July 2, 2007〕 The film had its world premiere at the 2005 Los Angeles Film Festival and was nominated for a 2006 Independent Spirit Award. The film was acquired by Miramax and had its television premiere on the Starz channel in December 2006.
Watson's TV acting credits include ''Cheers'', (Wings ), ''Ned & Stacey'', ''Frasier'', ''Caroline in the City'', ''Profiler'', ''Six Feet Under'', ''CSI: Miami'', ''The King of Queens'' and ''NYPD Blue''.
